Radiation is used in digital radiology, sometimes referred to as digital x-ray, to create images of a patient’s interior structures. Pets are exposed to much less radiation than they would be with a conventional x-ray, though. Even seniors, very young animals, and pregnant pets are not at risk from treatment in any way.
We use our cutting-edge digital x-ray technology to look into the bodies of pets to identify injuries and some illnesses. With the aid of X-rays, we are able to inspect the bones and ligaments as well as judge the size, location, and shape of certain organs, for example, the heart, lungs, and abdominal muscles. This technology can also be used to detect osteoarthritis, bladder stones, and many other diseases, as well as to monitor pregnancy.
